Keith Leon Renfro, 67, of Macon passed away at 6:23 a.m., Monday May 3, 2010, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday May 7, 2010 at the Macon United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in the Macon Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the Macon United Methodist Church.  Memorials may be made to the church.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com.  Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Macon is assisting the family with services.

 

Keith was born July 10, 1942 in Decatur the son of Virgil Marion and Mary L. (Jones) Renfro.  He married Norma Sue Peters on October 20, 1963.  From that union two children were born.  He began his work career as a professional drywaller, farming with his brother, and working for the Hi-Flyer Kite Factory.  He went on later to work for Herbert Trucking and then on to own and operate his own contracting business KL Renfro General Contracting with his son.  He was a member of the Macon United Methodist Church.

 

Surviving is his son: Kevin Leon Renfro and his wife Camille of Moweaqua; daughter: Marsha Sue Branch and her husband Robert of Bridgman, MI; mother Mary L. Renfro of Macon; grandchildren: Kline Leon Renfro and Madison Ann Renfro both of Moweaqua, Jacob Marion Malsch and Henry Charles Branch both of Bridgman, MI; step granddaughter: Madison Branch of Kalamazoo, MI; brother: Kenneth Wayne Renfro and his wife Willie of Macon; sister: Marilyn Beth Stickling and her husband Harold of Peoria; many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

 

He was preceded in death by his father and infant sister: Beverly.
